A Carrollton man who is facing two counts of a drug-related felony charge is due in court this week.
According to a post on the Carrollton Police Department’s Facebook page, on Tuesday, November 13, a Carrollton Police officer conducted a traffic stop on South Main Street near Highway 10, and arrested was 31-year-old Adam Wilkin after authorities say they found methamphetamine and controlled pills, as well as drug paraphernalia.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and Wilkin has been charged with two counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid; three driving-related misdemeanors; and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond has been fixed at $35,000 cash or licensed surety- no 10-percent allowed.
Wilkin has a hearing scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, at Carroll County.
