A Green Ridge woman has been charged with a felony after she reportedly led law-enforcement officers on a high-speed chase in Pettis County on Wednesday, November 14.
According to authorities, the pursuit started in the city of Sedalia, continued on several county roads and ended when the driver stopped the vehicle in a driveway on Voting House Road in Green Ridge. The driver reportedly refused to exit the vehicle, and after several commands, the law-enforcement officer says he approached the vehicle, opened the door and pulled 47-year-old Mary Brockman out of the vehicle and took her into custody.
Online court documents say Brockman has been charged with a Class E Felony for Resisting or Interfering with an Arrest for a Felony. Bond has been set at $15,000 cash or surety.
Brockman was formally arraigned while in custody on Wednesday, November 14. Her cause has been continued for a bond-reduction hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
