A Wellington man sustained moderate injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Lafayette County on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as 39-year-old Christopher Sibley reportedly overcorrected his westbound vehicle, which had traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a post, and it overturned in the median.
Sibley, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence for treatment.
The crash happened at 9 p.m. on U.S. Highway 24, three-tenths of a mile west of the west junction of Missouri Business 13.
