A Sedalia woman was killed in a head-on traffic crash with a semi-truck in Pettis County on Friday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 51-year-old Janna McQueen, reportedly traveled into the westbound lanes and was struck head-on by a Kenworth tractor-trailer, driven by 46-year-old Bruce Robbins, of Menahga, MN.
McQueen reportedly was flown by helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia where she was later pronounced deceased by a doctor at 7:07 p.m. Robbins reportedly was not injured.
The crash happened just after 2 p.m. on U.S. Highway 50, just west of Route W.
