A Sedalia resident sustained minor injuries in a traffic crash in Cooper County on Sunday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as 26-year-old Shea Archibeque, of Sedalia, reportedly overcorrected his northbound vehicle, which had traveled off the left side of the roadway; and the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.
While Archibeque reportedly was not injured, a passenger- 23-year-old Richard Gerloff- was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia for treatment. Neither of the vehicle’s occupants reportedly was wearing a seat belt.
The crash happened just after 12 p.m. on Missouri Highway 135, one mile north of Route A.
