A potential transfer of property agreement between the Marshall Public School District and the city of Marshall got a boost from the Marshall School Board during its meeting on Monday, November 19.
Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher said the board had a discussion about the south tract of land, where the Spainhower Building sits and has been utilized by the district for the past three years.
Dr. Maher says the two plans are posted on the district’s website for patrons to view and make comments.
Dr. Maher said the board talked about several issues involving the contract, but ultimately gave its approval to move forward.
The agreement is scheduled to be presented for both parties to sign during the next meeting of the Marshall City Council on Monday, December 3.
