An Independence man suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash in Lafayette County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 63-year-old Joseph Denker, reportedly ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a mailbox, a speed limit sign, another mailbox, ran off the left side of the roadway, struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle, a residence and came to rest on a driveway pillar.
Denker reportedly was transported by Lexington E.M.S. to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence for treatment.
The crash happened just before noon on U.S. Highway 24 at Hicklin Road.
