A Fayette woman who has been charged with a felony in relation to the suicide of an area teenager is due in an area courtroom this week.
According to a probable-cause statement, Harley Kaitlynn Branham is alleged to have harassed Kenneth Suttner, causing emotional distress between October 6 and November 30, 2016.
According to online court documents, Branham originally was charged with a felony for involuntary manslaughter, but that charge was dismissed by the court.
On March 5, Branham waived her formal arraignment hearing and entered a plea of not guilty on updated charges of a Class D Felony for Aggravated Stalking and two counts of misdemeanors for assault in the third degree and harassment.
A hearing for Branham is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, December 14, at Howard County Circuit Court.
