Results of the Slater Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas Lighting Contest have been released, with five residences and three businesses garnering recognition.
According to information provided, in the residential category, finishing first was the residence at 745 Main; in second place was 351 Maple; followed by residences at 520 Heiler, 119 Clyde and 975 Forqueran.
In the business category, Big Bend Retreat took first prize. It was followed by Slater News and the Slater Veterans’ Park.
