A Sedalia resident has been charged with a felony for allegedly stealing prescription medications from a residence on November 19.
A probable-cause statement says while Ronnie Price Jr.’s father was at Bothwell Hospital, the father claims Price Jr. had gotten into his room and stolen his pain medications- including 15 Oxycodone and 30 Delaudid pills. Price Jr. reportedly had placed a message on Facebook messenger trying to sell some of the pills. He also allegedly attempted to sell some to an individual in Otterville.
Online court documents say a warrant has been issued and Price Jr. has been charged with a Class D Felony for Stealing a Controlled Substance. Bond has been fixed at $50,000 cash or surety.
Price Jr.’s initial appearance at Pettis County Circuit Court is pending.
