At the October 23 meeting of the Marshall School Board, four different designs for the addition to the Spainhower Building were presented by representatives of William B. Ittner Architects.
In a meeting at noon on Tuesday, December 18, the Marshall School Board agreed on one of the proposed designs.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Terry Lorenz said the district narrowed the choices to two, and allowed time for the patrons in the district to view and comment on them on the district’s website.
Dr. Lorenz said the consensus was to go with Proposal No. 5.

However, Lorenz says they are still quite a ways from starting to move dirt.

The board approved his recommendation to go with Design No. 5.
In another action taken, the board approved Margaret “Maggie” Sherman to represent the district for the Missouri School Board Association’s Belcher Scholarship.
