Charles E. “Billy Jim” Meinershagen, age 91, of rural Blackburn, died Friday, December 21, 2018.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Concordia. Inurnment, with military rites, will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Care Community or American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include one son, Bruce Meinershagen (Pam) of rural Mayview; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, John Meinershagen of rural Blackburn; as well as other extended family members.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur William Meinershagen and Elizabeth Woods Meinershagen; one brother, William Meinershagen; and two sisters, Evelyn Kiso and Lorene Harms.
