Two roadwork projects are scheduled to continue this week beginning on Wednesday, December 26, in Cooper County.
According to MoDOT, brush cutting is scheduled on Route U, from Routes B and J, with the work scheduled to last through Friday, January 4.
During the project, one lane of traffic in each direction will be open through the work area.
Also, sidewalk construction and upgrades continue this week on Route Y, between Highway 179 and Dietzel Lane. Minimal traffic interruptions are expected through the work area.
A roadwork project scheduled could cause full closure of portions of a roadway at various times in Cooper County beginning on Wednesday.
Culvert-pipe replacement is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at various locations on Route T, between Route J and Hopewell Road. The work is scheduled to continue each weekday through Friday, January 4.
All work is weather permitting.
