A Sedalia man and Climax Springs woman each has been charged with felonies after a traffic stop in Pettis County on December 20.
According to a probable-cause statement, a Pettis County deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a window tint violation near the intersection of Winchester and U.S. Highway 50 in Sedalia. The deputy spoke with the occupants, 41-year-old Gregory Bierschbach, Jr and 31-year-old Danielle Bierschbach.
During the traffic stop, the deputy discovered Danielle Bierschbach had a felony warrant for her arrest and was in possession of a loaded firearm. A search of the vehicle ensued which reportedly discovered both occupants to be in possession of various drug paraphernalia, another firearm and approximately 18 grams of methamphetamine.
Online court documents say each subject has been charged with Class D Felonies for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, as well as a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon-Possess a Weapon and a Felony Controlled Substance. Bond for each has been set at $15,000 cash or surety.
Initial hearings for each of the accused is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
