An area law-enforcement agency is asking for the public’s help with any surveillance video they may have from earlier this week.
According to a post on Facebook, the Brookfield Police Department is asking for the assistance from the city’s residents in providing information pertaining to thefts from vehicles on Christmas eve.
One item reported as stolen was turnout gear for a fireman.
The areas of interest include Farview Heights, High Street, Sunset Hill, West Prairie and West Dake Streets.
The post says if you review your video and see anyone walking around your neighborhood or a vehicle between midnight and 4 a.m. on Christmas, you are being urged to contact the police department at (660) 258-3385.
