Eight of the 10 officials in Saline County who were either elected or reelected to office in November were formally sworn in during a ceremony at the courthouse in Marshall on Friday, December 28.
Clerk Debbie Russell thanked all in attendance.

Russell then performed the official “Oath-of-Office” procedure.

Russell then was formally sworn in by Rolf. Russell said reelected Auditor Tara Vogelsmeier and Collector Cindi Sims will be sworn in at 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, during the session of the county commission.
Sworn in were: Presiding Judge, Dennis Rolf; Associate Circuit Judge- Division 5, Hugh Harvey; Associate Circuit Judge- Division 6, Page Bellamy; Prosecuting Attorney, Tim Thompson; Presiding Commissioner, Kile Guthrey Jr.; Clerk of the Circuit Court, Becky Tebbenkamp Uhlich; Recorder of Deeds, Jamie Franklin Nichols; and Russell.
All of the office holders begin their terms on January 1.
