A person allegedly involved in the robbery of a bank earlier this week in Pettis County has been apprehended and is awaiting formal charges.
According to a post on the Sedalia Police Department’s Facebook page, officers and detectives responded to Central Bank at 400 West Broadway for a reported robbery on Wednesday, December 26.
During the investigation, the suspect reportedly fled on foot to an awaiting vehicle that was being driven by another subject. The driver of the vehicle provided transportation from the area. On Thursday, December 27, the alleged driver was arrested and was place on a 24-hour hold. The suspect who committed the robbery reportedly has not been identified as of yet.
Formal charges have not been filed, and per KMMO policy, the name of the alleged “getaway driver” will not be released at this time.
