A roadwork project scheduled will cause a roadway closure for several hours of each weekday in Chariton County beginning on Wednesday, January 2.
According to MoDOT, culvert-pipe replacement is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Highway D, between Highway 5 and Mussel Fork Avenue. The work is scheduled to continue each weekday through Friday, January 4.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
All work is weather permitting.
