A roadwork project scheduled will cause full closure of portions of a roadway during several hours of each weekday in Howard County beginning on Monday, December 31.
According to MoDOT, culvert-pipe replacement is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at various locations on Highway 87, between County Roads 312 and 340. The work is scheduled to continue each weekday through Friday, January 11.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Bridge maintenance is scheduled to take place on Route H, over Salt Fork Creek, south of County Road 204. The project is scheduled to continue through Friday, January 4.
Also, brush cutting is scheduled on Route Y, between Highway 124 and County Road 138, with the project scheduled to last through Friday, January 11.
Each project will have one lane will be open, and a crew will flag traffic through the work areas.
All work is weather permitting.
