A Marshall man has been arrested and is awaiting formal charges for a reported shooting incident in Marshall which has left one dead on Saturday, December 29.
According to a release from the Marshall Police Department, at approximately 6:14 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance in progress at a residence located on Viking Lane.
Upon arrival, a 31-year-old Marshall man was found at the residence to have sustained injuries from an apparent gunshot. The victim was transported by ambulance to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment and was later pronounced deceased.
A 55-year-old Marshall man has been identified as the suspect and has been taken into custody. He is currently being held at the Marshall Police Department awaiting formal charges.
