The MMU Board of Public Works discussed the gathering of quotes and bids for maintenance items needed during its meeting on Thursday, January 3.
Electric Production Director Carl Crawford said his department would like to get quotes for LED lighting needed at the recycling center.

The board approved the request to seek quotes not to exceed $6,000.
In other business, Wastewater Treatment Director Nolan Townsend said some doors need to be replaced at two facilities in his department.

Townsend also requested to seek quotes for replacement parts needed for a UV disinfection module. The board approved both requests from the Wastewater Department.
