A Moberly man has been charged with a felony for allegedly assaulting a female during an altercation in an apartment in New Franklin on December 24, 2018.
According to a probable-cause statement, the female says 24-year-old Jeffrey Feltner grabbed her by her arms, slammed her on the bed- which broke the bed; and when she went to the kitchen to get her phone to call 9-1-1, Feltner took away her phone and would not allow her to leave. The female also said Feltner pinned her in the corner of the kitchen and punched a hole in the wall next to her head. During his interview with authorities, Feltner reportedly admitted to some of the allegations.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been served and Feltner has been charged with a Class E Felony for Domestic Assault in the Third Degree. Bond has been fixed at $10,000- with 10-percent surety authorized.
Feltner’s initial arraignment hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29, at Howard County Circuit Court.
