A Sweet Springs man suffered moderate injuries when he reportedly was struck by a vehicle in Lafayette County on Thursday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 57-year-old Billy Lemmons, of Emma, reportedly struck 29-year-old Jackie Holtcamp, who reportedly was standing in the middle of the roadway.
Holtcamp reportedly was evaluated by E.M.S. on the scene but refused transportation to the hospital. Lemmons reportedly was not injured.
The accident happened just before 11 p.m. on the South Outer Road, just west of Goose Creek Road.
