A Sedalia teen sustained moderate injuries in a four-vehicle traffic crash in Pettis County on Friday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred a the driver of a westbound vehicle, 17-year-old Ella Izoita, reportedly attempted to turn and traveled into the path of an eastbound vehicle, driven by 44-year-old Jeffrey Twenty, of Sedalia. Twenty’s vehicle reportedly traveled off the roadway and struck a northbound vehicle, driven by 26-year-old Petr Kukharets, of Sedalia. Izoita’s vehicle reportedly struck another westbound vehicle, driven by 28-year-old Sarah Young, of Green Ridge, before traveling off the roadway.
Izoita, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Pettis County ambulance to Bothwell Hospital for treatment of moderate injures. No other persons reportedly were injured.
The crash happened at about 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of Route Y and Quisenberry Road.
