With road conditions still treacherous in some locations, several area school districts have called off classes for Monday, January 14.
According to what has been called into KMMO at this time: Marshall Public Schools and Bright Beginnings and Prairie View State School in Marshall are closed. Also closed are: Brunswick R-2; Cooper County R-4 in Bunceton; Carrollton R-7; Concordia Public Schools and St. Paul’s Elementary in Concordia; Sedalia 200 Schools, Sacred Heart and E.W. Thompson School for the Severely Disabled in Sedalia; Gilliam C-4; Glasgow Public, Head Start and St. Mary’s in Glasgow; Hardeman R-10; Hardin-Central; Lafayette County C-1 and Immanuel Lutheran in Higginsville; Lexington R-5; Malta Bend R-5; Miami R-1; Norborne R-8; Northwestern at Mendon; Odessa R-7; Otterville; Pettis County R-5 in Houstonia and Hughesville; Pilot Grove C-4 and St. Joesph’s in Pilot Grove; Santa Fe Schools in Alma and Waverly; Slater Public Schools; and Sweet Springs R-7 Schools. There also will be no day nor evening classes at State Fair Community College in Sedalia.
