Louise Schnakenberg, age 70, of Concordia, died Wednesday, January 16, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Concordia

Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Lafayette County Cancer Coalition.

Survivors include two children, Christina Gates (Bruce) of Concordia and Mike Schnakenberg of rural Concordia; seven grandchildren, Katelin Schnakenberg, Kylie Schnakenberg, Kaden Schnakenberg, Sasha Chavez, Shanda Norris, Sierra Norris and Shayla Norris; nine great-grandchildren; three siblings, Jeanette Koch and Patty Lemmons both of Sweet Springs and Eugene Eckhoff of Higginsville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Leonard R. Eckhoff and Gertrude (Trudy) Hachenberger Eckhoff; and husband, Harvey C. Schnakenberg; Louise was preceded in death by two sisters, JoAnn Meyer and Linda Harms; and one brother, Dennis Eckhoff.
