A Boonville teen has been charged with a felony for the alleged assault of two female victims earlier this week in Cooper County.
A probable-cause statement says Boonville Police officers responded to a report of a physical altercation at a residence in the earlier morning hours on Wednesday, January 16.
Officers spoke with both female victims who stated they each allegedly were assaulted by 18-year-old Shelby Clark. The victims said Clark allegedly had been drinking a lot of alcohol due to a separate altercation with a male and were trying to clam her down. Clark reportedly struck one victim in the stomach area, as well as her facial area which knocked out a tooth. The other victim reportedly was noticed to be bleeding from scratches on her face and swelling on her head.
Online court documents say Clark has been charged with two counts of a Class E Felony for Assault in the Third Degree. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash or surety.
Clark’s initial hearing at Cooper County Circuit Court is pending.
