Winter storms damaged, and in some cases, knocked down some trees in residential yards over the last couple of weeks.
During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Tuesday, January 22, Ward 3 Councilman Dan Brandt said the city will be helping with the cleanup effort. First, he gave thanks to the road crews and Municipal Utilities for clearing the roadways and getting power restored during a few outages.

Brandt said specifics of an organized effort to clean up the downed limbs and trees will be announced when the weather gets a little better.

Brandt says if you have your issues taken care of and have the limbs at curbside, just call Municipal Services at 886-3945, and crews will pick up the limbs now.
