A 24-year-old Blackburn resident who has been charged with multiple sex-related felonies involving a juvenile is due in court next week.
According to a probable-cause statement, on July 28, 2018, a woman alleged that Christopher Michael Moore II sexually assaulted her daughter on more than one occasion between June 30 and July 1 and July 20 and 22 at Moore’s residence in rural Saline County. Authorities reportedly reviewed explicit Facebook messages between the juvenile and Moore.
According to online court documents, Moore has been charged with two counts of a Class D Felony for Statutory Rape in the Second Degree; a Class D Felony for Statutory Sodomy in the Second Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Enticement of a Child (Actor 21 Years of Age or Older and Child Less Than 15 Years of Age). Bond is set at $100,000 cash only.
Moore, who pleaded not guilty during his arraignment hearing in September, is due for a plea/trial-setting hearing at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 28, at Saline County Circuit Court.
