A St. Charles man was seriously injured in a rollover traffic crash on an ice-covered roadway in Lafayette County on Tuesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 47-year-old Jared Sanz-Agero reportedly lost control of his westbound vehicle, and it traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, overturned and struck a MoDOT sign.
Sanz-Agero reportedly was transported by Odessa E.M.S. to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence for treatment.
The crash happened just before 1 p.m. at the 37.4 mile marker on I-70.
