A Kansas City resident sustained minor injuries in a rollover traffic crash on an ice-covered roadway in Lafayette County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 25-year-old Laura Elders reportedly lost control of her westbound vehicle, and it traveled off the north side of the roadway and overturned.
Elders reportedly was transported by Higginsville E.M.S. to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence for treatment.
The crash happened just after 10:30 p.m. at the 45.8 mile marker on I-70.
