Danny Lee Sims, 57, of rural Sweet Springs, died Sunday, February 17th.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 22nd at 10:30 a.m. at First Christian Church in Sweet Springs. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Survivors include one sister, Cookie Viets of rural Sweet Springs; one brother, Dewey Wayne Sims (Connie) of rural Sweet Springs; two nieces, Robin Thomas of Sweet Springs and DeEtta Murphy of Houstonia; four nephews: Michael Viets of Sweet Springs, Sean Hollrah of Columbia, Josh Sims and Jeff Sims, both of Sweet Springs, as well as his nieces and nephews families; and numerous friends who considered him family.
