Russell Alan Sims, age 51, of Sweet Springs, died Monday, February 18, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 25, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Emma. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday, February 24, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or MU Omega “There’s No Place Like Home” project in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.

In addition to his father, Russell L.; and his wife, Stacy; he is survived by three sons: Craig Sims, Justin Sims, and Connor Sims; one sister, Karen Giffen; one brother, Ryan Sims, all of Sweet Springs; as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family.
