The mayor’s State of Slater report was heard during the city council meeting on Tuesday, February 20.
City Administrator Gene Griffith said Mayor Dr. Stephen Allegri gave his annual report on what was accomplished this past year and what needs are scheduled for this year.

In other business, Griffith said it’s been tough to scheduled a citywide yard waste collection day due to ongoing winter weather.

Griffith added if any resident wants to get rid of their yard waste now, they should contact City Hall or Public Works during regular business hours to open up the city dump.
