The Boonville School Board approved for students to have access to online courses from the Springfield School District next school year during its meeting on Wednesday, February 20.
Superintendent Dr. Sarah Marriott details the benefits of the online courses.

Marriott added the courses available offer student a chance to learn other languages besides Spanish, and says the virtual classes have a similar structure to online courses for college students.
In other business, Marriott said the board tabled a decision regarding procedures with late starts for next school year.

The next school board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 20.
