During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Tuesday, February 19, Ward 2 Councilman Chuck Hines asked if the brush pickup due to winter storms is continuing, especially since more storms recently have hampered the progress of the collection efforts.
Municipal Services Director Bill Anderson said “yes.”

Ward 3 Councilman Dan Brandt- who is on the council’s Municipal Services and Personnel Committee- also responded.

Earlier this month, Anderson said if you can get the tree limbs curbside, they will be picked up by Municipal Services crews. The ordinary restriction of size and bulk does not apply in this case. City officials just ask you to keep the limbs and brush away from any other trash, sign posts and mailboxes, etc. That will make it easier for crews to pick up the debris.
