During his report as a member of the Municipal Services and Personnel Committee at the Marshall City Council meeting on Tuesday, February 19, Marshall Ward 2 Councilman Dan Brandt said he received a call from a concerned citizen.
Brandt acknowledged the city has received an unusual amount of snow and ice this year.

Brandt said he understands that most area stores ran out of ice melt. But he said the city would like residents to try to refrain from using fertilizer for environmental reasons.
