A Boonville resident is facing a drug-related felony charge after the execution of a search warrant allegedly revealed numerous drug-related items at a residence in the 1200 block of Evergreen Circle on Tuesday, February 26.
A probable-cause statement says authorities seized four bags of marijuana weighing a total of more than 140 grams; digital scales; a package of rolling papers; five bags labeled “shatter” THC concentrate- two of which were unopened; a metal grinder; and several other drug-related items.
The statement also says Zachary John Gerke reportedly admitted he has been selling marijuana out of the residence.
According to online court documents, Gerke has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance; a Class E Felony for Keeping or Maintaining a Public Nuisance; and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $5,000 cash or surety.
Gerke’s initial hearing is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
