A Sedalia teen suffered serious injuries and another Missouri resident was killed in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Dallas County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle, driven by 49-year-old Oran Caudle, of Goodson, reportedly crossed over the center line of the roadway and struck a southbound vehicle, driven by 17-year-old Kiara Irwin.
Caudle was pronounced deceased at the scene by Dallas County Coroner Bob Whetsten. Irwin reportedly was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
The crash happened just before 6:45 p.m. on U.S. Highway 65, four miles north of Buffalo.
