Assistant Superintendent Dr. Terry Lorenz gave some updates about some of the district’s property at the location formerly known as the Marshall Habilitation Center during the school board meeting on Wednesday, February 27.
According to minutes from the meeting, Dr. Lorenz said the forensics building is down, and the chiller for the Spainhower School is ready for delivery. He’s trying to get everything worked out with the timing of the delivery.
Dr. Lorenz also reported the new exterior doors at the high school have been installed; and he is looking into options for bollards to be placed in front of the doorways. He also said security cameras are being installed at MHS and the bus barn.
In other news, the board approved an eRate bid from CTS for $109,117.69- less the eRate of $87,294.15- equaling $21,823.54 cost to the district.
