A 4-year-old child of Windsor, Vermont, suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash on a snow-covered roadway involving three vehicles in Saline County on Sunday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as 30-year-old David Vines, of Windsor, Vermont, reportedly lost control of his westbound vehicle, and it struck a westbound vehicle, driven by 42-year-old Markice Hall, of Aurora, Colorado. Hall’s vehicle then struck a westbound freightliner, driven by 39-year-old Alberto Vega, of Brownsville, Texas.
While none of the drivers reportedly was injured, the child was transported by Sweet Springs E.M.S. to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia for treatment.
The crash happened at 8:30 a.m. at the 77.2 mile marker on I-70.
