The Marshall City Council considered approval of a bid during its meeting on Monday, March 4.
The bid for chemical lawn treatment was presented by City Inspector/Code Official Mike Morgan.

The council gave its approval to accept the bid from E-Z Green.
In other news, City Administrator David Haugland asked the council to approve an ordinance regarding a proposed agreement between the city and the Missouri State Corn Husking Championship.

Since there is a bit of time, the council only approved the first reading of the proposed agreement; so it will be presented for a second reading during a future meeting.
