A Marshall woman was injured in a rollover traffic accident in Cooper County on Tuesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 58-year-old Joyce Barnard, reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway and began sliding. The vehicle then struck a mile marker sign, overturned and stuck a tree.
Barnard reportedly was transported by Cooper County ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of moderate injures.
The accident occurred just after 10 a.m. at the 112.4 mile marker on I-70.
