Organizers of a benefit event for cancer survivors asked to use part of the Saline County Courthouse grounds for an event in the coming months.
At the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, March 5, Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden read the request. She said the “Relay for Life” organizers would like to use the south side of the of the courthouse grounds from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 15. Gooden said the event is to celebrate and support cancer survivors and victims.
Commissioners approved the request.
