The Slater City Council discussed a proposal for the repainting of the Front Street Water Tower and billing for water services during its meeting on Tuesday, March 5.
City Administrator Gene Griffith said upcoming water bills for residents might be higher or lower than usual due to recent winter weather.

In other business, Griffith said a proposal from Hogan’s Painting was received for the repainting of the Front Street Water Tower. Griffith compares this proposal from Hogan’s who also repainted the Industrial Park Water Tower last year.

The council approved the proposal for the repainting of the water tower.
