Excessive rain in some areas has caused some localized flooding, and the list of area road closures has increased to three.
According to a spokesperson from MoDOT, in Saline County, Missouri Highway 127, one mile north of Sweet Springs, has been closed due to water over the roadway.
According to MoDOT’s Traveler Information map, Missouri Highway 23- between Concordia and Knob Noster- also is closed due to flooding.
And a message from the Cooper County Emergency Management Agency says Route V near the Petite Saline Creek is closed due to water over the roadway, as well.
