A traffic crash in Randolph County, Saturday, March 8, 2019, sent three people to the hospital.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the vehicle driven by 22-year-old Austin Skelton, of Moberly crossed into the westbound lane of US-24 and struck a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Tara Clater, of Hale. Both drivers received moderate injuries and were transported by Chariton county Ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia. A 3-year old male passenger in Skelton’s car was also transported to University Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The report also indicates, neither 22-year-old Austin Skelton, or his minor passenger was wearing safety devices.
The crash occurred at 8:25 p.m. on US-24, two miles west of Clifton Hill.
