The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has announced the 2019 Annual Census of Missouri Public Water Systems is now available online.
A news release says this report defines the quality and safety of drinking water provided by Missouri’s 2,747 public water systems for 2018.
The annual Census of Missouri Public Water Systems provides detailed information regarding the volume, source water type, population and other characteristics of water systems. In addition, test results for selected chemicals are included along with the types of treatments used by Missouri water systems.
The department is required to produce a census annually under the Missouri Revised Statutes.
The 2019 Census of Missouri Public Water Systems is available online at dnr.mo.gov/env/wpp/census.htm.
