An Edwards resident has been charged with a felony for allegedly stealing from Menard’s in Sedalia.
According to a probable-cause statement, an employee at the store viewed surveillance video and located four incidents in which it is believed 59-year-old Roy T. Jackson was stealing. Through watching video from November 1, 16 and 25 and December 30, 2018, the employee reportedly was able to identify more than $2,000 worth of merchandise was stolen.
Online court documents say Jackson has been charged with a Class D Felony for Stealing of $750 or More. Bond has been set at $7,500 cash or surety.
Jackson’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
