Two Warsaw residents died in a rollover traffic crash in Benton County on Friday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 62-year-old Kurt Eisinger, of Warsaw, reportedly overcorrected his westbound Ford F-150 pickup truck as it traveled off the right side of the roadway. The truck then returned to the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a rock cliff and came to rest on the roadway.
Passengers, 66-year-old Barbara Adams and 64-year-old Johnnie Adams, were pronounced deceased at the scene by the deputy coroner at 2:55 p.m. A 5-year-old boy, of Sedalia, reportedly was transported by Warsaw Fire to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia for treatment of minor injuries.
Eisinger, who reportedly was not injured, was arrested at the scene and transported to the Benton County Jail.
Reportedly, nobody in the truck was wearing a seat belt.
The crash happened at 2:30 p.m. on Route H, east of Heits Point Avenue.
